INDUSTRIAL LEAD
The Commercial Operations Team is designed to purchase capacity and mitigate risk for all our commercial platforms. The operations team inside of our module centers are growing to support our programs and deliver to our customer commitments.
Industrial Lead will be required to:
- Ensure all aspects of Manufacturing Production Readiness are assessed and support the industrial and program plans at the parts level.
- Tooling
- Capital
- Producer Capacity
- Technology maturity co-owned with the Program Chief Engineer
- Development to Production process transitions
- ESA / Hardware qualification / Quality Level
- Aggregating the part on-time starts, level WIP position, yield and capacity information
- Develop recommendations for adjustment of the build plan and production schedule to minimize adverse impacts to delivery, cost and inventory.
- Ensure Program Sourcing Strategy is in line with shop and commodity initiatives and is involved in sourcing decisions (including the avoidance, if possible, of sole sources) and transitions Work with the Engineering Managers to assess industrial risk, develop and execute mitigation plans to ensure quality, delivery, and producibility requirements are achieved.
- Identify gaps that will inhibit transition from development to production.
Candidate Must Have:
- Manufacturing – aerospace or automotive preferred
- Operations experience
- Industrial Engineer degree or experience
- Continuous Process Improvement (Six Sigma, LEAN, etc)
- BS – Industrial Engineering
- MBA preferred
Salary: $90k -$130k
